I thought this was neat. So im sharing it with you guys. The directions are inexact, but the general idea is enough to get you going. It’s an art, not a science, you know. Just keep playing until you make em look like roses. It might help to find some smaller leaves for the inside layers, and larger ones for the outside. In the images, it looks like the first two were about the same size but the last one was quite a bit larger. It evens out when you roll looser.
Heres a quick video of how its done, enjoy!
Bandwith limit, ill post it on youtube or something later for now heres a pictorial intruction made by somebody else.
It took 4 tries before I made one just as pretty as the video above. The making goes pretty fast. Gathering the “right” leaves took far more time, but even so the whole experiment took about 10 minutes.
Many of the leaves on the ground will be too crisp. You’ll want to find colored ones that are still pretty soft, which may mean you need to shake them off a branch or even pluck them.

Try clicking then dragging the image below to compare difrent parts of this pictorial instruction.
The best part about this is that it costs you nothing, and you can do it just about anywhere (providing you have maple leafs around you). So you could practicly suprise your gf and make this while you wait for her to get back.
